Singapore Silat Federation or also known as Persekutuan Silat Singapura (PERSISI) was formed in 1976 and is registered with the Registry of Societies (UEN Number S76SS0039A). PERSISI has been successfully registered and renewed with Institution of a Public Character (IPC000526) yearly, and received its Charity status under the Charities Act since April 2011.
